Period of activity
Skiing is possible from end of November to mid-April, but most of the stations will open around mid-December. But this year snow conditions were very poor and some stations just started activities beginning of January. Please consult the latest snow depth conditions for reference.

Hours of operations, early ski, nighter
Stations are normally opened between 8:00 AM and 5:OO PM. A few stations open much earlier, i.e. 5:00 or 6:00 AM, especially on week-ends and NH, or offer the possibility to ski after the sun-rise, so-called nighter. We have indicated the hours of operation for a few selected stations in the table below. Please be aware they may exist some exceptions depending on the time of the year.

Prices
The ski pass cost almost the same in all ski stations: one-day around 4,000 Yen, unit ticket 400 Yen. What really makes the difference is the existence of a half-day pass or reduced tariff for kids. Please kindly consult the comparison chart below to get an idea of the prices in practice in a few selected stations. The Houdaigi station offers a family membership at a cost of 6,000 Yen, valkid for three ski seasons, which will enable you to enjouy subsequent discounts each time you ski there, i.e. 500 Yen per family member on ski pass, 500 Yen on parking, 500 to 1,000 Yen on ski equipment rental, etc. Ask for the 'Houdaigi Ski-jo Tomo-no-Kai' scheme and the Management Office.
